I mentioned that the order of comments should run chronologically, from the most recent (first) to oldest (last) under each Discussion topic.  I'll post any reply I get so we'll know if this is how the Discussion Forum entries will be ordered from now on.

Cana Guy - my apologies if you haven't received a response to your email; I'm looking at our tech support queue right now and it looks like your question was marked as resolved without anyone replying to you.  If so... that's not right!

Regarding the ordering of messages... the default order for posts within a topic is first post first; we don't have any plans to switch that on everyone.  This is pretty standard for discussion boards; Google Groups, Yahoo Groups, Microsoft, Apple, etc all do the same.  Seems like most folks find it easier to read a discussion from the top down - until you've read the first post the second usually won't make much sense.

We've already added a couple of discussion settings which can be adjusted by editing your profile - click on your username to find these:

It's possible for us to add a setting there which would make it so you always see posts in reverse order - if more folks would like to read topics in reverse please post here and let us know.

However... is the issue really the ordering of the posts, or is it having to go through multiple pages of posts to get to the new ones when there's a long discussion?  If it's having to page through posts you've already seen... we definitely would like to add a way for you to jump directly to where you left off on your last visit.  Need to work on some more pressing issues (like speed) first but I'm wondering if that might work for you instead of reversing the order of the posts.

(PS - did you know you can "drag" images and text from other websites into the discussion post window?  That's how the picture above appears, I'm not using any special "employee" magic.)
