I definitely have noticed that the weeds (or should I now say grass) on the entrance road has been mowed! It is much improved and everyone that comes into the development can not do anything but see that it is now a mowed. The association NEEDS to keep this mowed and trimmed. As mentioned in a previous note, my husband and I pay our yearly dues on time and except to see results from our payment. People that don't take care of their property I'm not sure how to handle that situation, it is just a shame that those residents don't have pride in their property. Many residents do and we need to continue to say ''THANK YOU'' for caring for your property to it helps all of us to have a better community.

Again the sidewalk areas look WONDERFUL. PLEASE KEEP IT TRIMMED AND MOWED. Our community is a good one keeping our lawns and properties clean and maintained is something that will only benefit all of the homeowners.

I agree with another write who said we have slippery icy roads in the winter and now high weeds in the summer. If this trend continues many that pay the yearly dues, will also opt to not contribute since we don't see any benefit of clean sidewalk/grass/roads, etc.

Thanks for taking the time to get the weeds down. Now maybe those residents could assist with the area when they mow their personal yard area. If not PLEASE association, keep it groomed.

Property and developement care

If you are referring to the grass along the new sidewalks on Rivers End all of the mowing is not the responsibiity of Crofton. We are only responsible from the Crofton Sign down to the townhouses before the shopping center.
As for the ''slippery'' roads in the winter. Our dues pay for plowing of snow only. A large amount is reimbursed by the state only when the snow is over 4''. Anything less and we foot the entire bill. Deldot determines the measurement at the New Castle County Airport. It does not matter what you hear on the news. If we were to foot the entire bill of just one plowing it would completely deplete treasury.
All of this has been addressed repeatedly in the Crofton Newsletters and is covered at the General Meetings. I recommend you go to one.
