I am a student at O'Connor H.S., I was just wondering why our neighborhood does not seem to sponsor any activities. I am currently enrolled in sociology and I feel as if we do not do enough as a community. Personally, I wonder sometimes if we even care. I am fairly new to the neighborhood (came 2 years ago), and I feel it would be great if we could maybe have a "get-together". We could use the area around the pool and have everyone bring something. If this works out, we could have more of them. I believe this would greatly benefit our community, (hey, we might get to know our neighbor).
