Time:  Sunday, March 09, 2008 between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM in the vicinity of Westminster and Kirby Road.

The owner of this property reported as follows: "We returned from church about 1:00 PM.  At approximately 1:30 PM, I went outside to prune and spray some shrubs on the backside of our house.

My wife went to bed for a nap.  I was in and out of the door from the garage which causes our alarm system to chime.  One of our double garage doors was open with both cars inside the garage.

I finished my work about 4:40 PM and took a shower.

She has an eight drawer jewelry-box in the dressing area.  She asked me why I had been in the box as three of the drawers were pulled out.  My answer was that I'd not been near the box but we were not suspicious at that time.  After dinner, she went back to the dressing area and saw a ring-box that is kept in the jewelry-box, setting on her dresser.  At this point, she realized someone had rifled through her things.  Inventory revealed at least two significant pieces of jewelry missing.

Our front door had not been opened by us during the day; the deadbolt had been closed.  That door was now slightly ajar.  The thief apparently entered thru the garage door and exited via the front door of the house. "
