Dear Arthur,

I noticed the 100 plus cars at Packaging Graphics, 60 Delta Drive, near McCoy Stadium,  were not there from the week of 2/16/to 2/20.  Is the corporation under a mass layoff or did they close after they purchased a huge computer on February 4?  The article of the computer purchased is enclosed.

If speculation is correct, were the workers victims of technological unemployment?

Dear Arthur,

Glad I am wrong.  Another 200 workers in Pawtucket without jobs would be devastating on food pantries and soup kitchens.

The Food Pantry at St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran  will be waiting for the workers at Shaw's Supermarket when the store officially closes on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
