Wonder if anyone called the police or just enjoyed the cheap entertainment. The RIPTA driver should have radioed it in to his dispatch

Dear mp,

About two weeks ago, I was walking with my son and dog by Main and Roosevelt, however, it was slightly calmer than you mentioned.  However, one man smoked dope.  One week later, several drunks were near fighting next to Slater Mill.

To comment upon your story:  What was the matter with the driver not calling 911.  My son's friends told me in recent years that a fight of 9-15 men at the bus kiosk brewed while students from Tolman and Shea transferred buses.  Supposedly, the men were fighting over whom was to get the sleeping place under the Roosevelt Avenue kiosk.

What scares me is what happens when the homeless shelters close on April 18.  Where do the people go for shelter?

The weather will be a bit nicer and hopefully we will have future creative ways to solve the problems...should be interesting on the 15th for the homeless connect at St Joseph-s

Thankfully is w\quieter and have not heard more...so it was nipped in the bud.
