Dear Arthur and friends,
A new 1950's retro restaurant will be replacing the downtown Pawtucket Cup & Saucer Restaurant, around 237 Main Street , two workmen at the site said.
The new restaurant will be operated by the Plouffe family, the Cumberland bakers of French-Canadian meat pies. However, the restaurant appears to have multi-purposes as well as a new decor. Dark paneling has been replaced by a much lighter interior. The old jukeboxes remain.
The new restaurant is located directly across the street from the downtown parking garage. Opening will be soon.
If only a few more adventurous souls can resurrect the downtown district...
Peace,
Ludlow1
