Not sure what you mean by "dangerous" - to the patrons' lungs maybe, but not to the surrounding neighborhood. They were all over the Chicago neighborhood where I used to live, and they all attracted a high class, quiet crowd with lots of money to spend. What we need is more things nearby that are open at night. |

I do not think we should allow people to poison themselves and spread diseases especially with flu and other things worse like cancer in our city... Why allow tobacco to have a clear shot at the lungs? Sexology sounds scientific and let us all learn |

If that's the case, shut down the bars and liquor stores, too. Smoking doesn't even impair one's driving ability.
The only two area Hookah bars I know of are Byblos on Meeting Street and Nara on Atwells Avenue. Could this mean downtown Pawtucket is ready to be in the same league as College Hill or Federal Hill, instead of rows of empty storefronts, vacant office space, and one-way streets? |
