We all owe a special and sincere THANK YOU to the persons who have in the past and continue to pick up trash in and around our neighborhood and they do this out of self-respect, environmental courtesy and pride in the community in which they live. When you see anyone doing any such selfless acts, take a moment to offer help or at least say, "Thank you", and perhaps make an effort to help when it is more convenient for your schedule.
