Nocturne Forest Homeowners Association

On July 21, 2008 at approximately 8:30 in the evening a woman who seemed to be on drugs knocked at our door begging for money.  It was very odd and out of the ordinary. Of course, we did not open the door and she ran away when we threatened to call the police. She was riding a boy's bicycle.  We called the police and reported the incident and asked for a patrol car to patrol the area that night.  As the economy worsens, times are getting harder for people and they are becoming more desperate. We all need to be vigilant in policing the neighborhood and calling the police when necessary.

By the way, this Panhandler post was sent to me by a neighbor. I did not mean to imply that it was from me.  I signed in and it appeared under my name.  Sorry if it is misleading.

I had a similar experience as reported with the neighborhood pan handler the day before (7/20/08).  Unfortunately, I did not have the foresight to call the police.  I did, however, notify several of my neighbors.  I have been on the look out since then.  Now that I have read the notice I will be sure to report any such incidents in the future.
