Neighbors,I wanted to share a couple of incidents that occurred recently. On Thursday morning my husband (James Shaw) went outside to get the morning newspaper. As he exited our front door he observed a young man walking down Nocturne Forest Drive as our neighbor exited her garage (the newer home) at the corner of Nocturne Forest Dr. and Nocturne Forest Ct. He yelled at the young man who took off running down Nocturne Forest Drive. He reported the incident to a former police officer in the neighborhood who stated he would turn the information in to the police.
Last night as we returned from a Christmas party, we came home via West Nocturne Drive. As we passed the unoccupied home on the corner of West Nocturne and Walker Lane that is currently under renovation, a car parked in the drive way flashed their headlights as we passed. We knew that no one should have been on the property since we know the owner and the home is under repair. Upon arriving home we notified the police department. The person who took the report indicated she would turn the report in. We are uncertain if either of these incidents had any criminal intent or involvement. We do know that something just didn't seem right. Just wanted to let you know about these recent observations.
