What does the Board do?

Posted in: Lansdowne Civic League
Why are the convenants not being followed:
Example:
. APPROVAL OF CONSTRUCTION. No building shall be erected, placed, or altered on any lot until the construction plans and specifications and a plan showing the location of the structure have been approved by P.J. Development Company as to the quality of workmanship and materials, harmony of external design with existing structures, and as to location with respect to topography and finish grade elevation. No fence or wall, garage, outbuilding or other structure shall be erected, placed, or altered on any lot unless similarly approved.

Who from the board has approved all the recent buildings?

Dear Concerned,

Thank you for your concerns in the Lansdowne neighborhood. We would also like to apologize for the terribly slow response. In regards to your questiion ''Who from the board has approved all the recent building?'', the answer would be no one. Although it would be in the homeowner's best interest, it is not mandatory for building plans to be presented before the board for approval. We have spoken in the past to the city building permit/code enforcement dept. and they do not take the time to investigate every neighborhoods restrictions/covenants when a building permit is being applied for. As long as it is within the city's guidelines (which are not as strict as ours), the permit is issued. Please feel free to contact a board member with any other concerns that you may have. Once again, we apologize for the slow response.

Thank You,
LCL Board
