FBI hunt for 'clean-cut' bank robber
FBI on lookout for `clean-cut' robber of Coastal credit union
The FBI is seeking the identity of a man -- dubbed the Clean-cut Bandit -- who robbed the Coastal Federal Credit Union on West W.T. Harris Boulevard on Monday. The man entered the bank at about 1:15 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money. The note indicated the man was armed, but he didn't show a weapon, according to the FBI.
Nobody was hurt in the robbery.
The man left the bank in a two-door convertible Chrysler Sebring described as maroon or burgundy with a black top.
The robber is described as a ''clean-cut'' black man between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a muscular build. He appeared 30 to 33 years old and had short, dark hair and a well-groomed beard. He wore a white and light blue windbreaker and had a shiny earring in each ear.
