It appears from a concensus of information from neighbors, that the shooting on North 40th Street was the result of a car jacking that went wrong at a gas station up the hill and the person brought their car to a relatives house at 431 on 40th Street to get away. The bad guys followed him and shot at him down the street.
This was not reported to the Police (this was confirmed last evening) .
