ZERO TOLERANCE by Pam Staley

ZERO TOLERANCE
by Pam Staley, Vice President
Residents of the Westside, are you taking note that there has been an increase of tagging (graffiti) in our neighborhood? Also, there are young children hanging around in groups until all hours of the night. Where are these youngsters? parents?
As neighbors, homeowners and concerned citizens, we are not going to allow gangs to form in our community. If we show zero tolerance by calling parents, police, neighborhood watch groups and friends, we can nip this in the bud. We need to stand united against neglect and violence for the sake of everyone. I implore you to empower yourself to maintain peace within your neighborhood.
We will voice our concerns at our next OWN meeting on February 14th at 7 p.m. at the West Center. These problems exist for your school areas: Washington, Midland, Bristol, Buena Vista and Whittier. Your input is critical. See ya there!
