San Antonio Oak Crest is located approximately five miles North of Loop 410 and Culebra Road. To reach Oak Crest, go North of Loop 410 on Culebra Road for approximately four miles until you reach Grissom and Tezel Roads. By going straight through the traffic lights the road changes its name to Tezel Road (Culebra Road proceeds to the left). Continue North on Tezel Road for one mile to Silent Sunrise. Turn right on Silent Sunrise for approximately 1/8 of a mile and the first two entrances to our gated community are on either side of Silent Sunrise. To the left is Oak Crest 3 and to the right Oak Crest 2. If your continue another 1/8 mile you will see John Connally Middle School on your left. Across from the middle school is the entrance to Oak Crest 1.
San Antonio Oak Crest is unigue in that it does not have recreational facilities, but it does have a strong homeowners association which keeps your property values up. There is ample street lighting, well manicured, landscaped medians and perimeter areas, a very quiet and private neighborhood nestled within the oak trees.

The San Antonio Oak Crest HOA represents three neighborhood communities. Oak Crest #1 - Oak Harbor Drive, Oak Crest #2 and #3 - Rolling Forest Drive, each on opposite sides of Silent Sunrise. The HOA was incorporated in June 1998, and full management and control of the Association was assumed by the homeowners in June 2003. The SA Oak Crest HOA consists of 249 lots; 64 in Oak Crest #1, 94 in Oak Crest #2, and 91 in Oak Crest #3.
The Developer of Oak Crest was VLM-SA, Inc., a Texas corporation with offices in Dallas, Texas. All the homes were built by Centex Homes, located here in San Antonio.
Oak Crest HOA is managed by Association Management Services (AMS), 1600 N.E. Loop 410, Suite 202, San Antonio, Texas, 78209, 210-829-7202. The AMS manager is Jeannette Arensberg, email: ams14@ams-sa.com.
The HOA Board of Directors consist of three members who are homeowners, preferably one Director from each of the three communities. They set policy for the HOA, govern the Association and work with our Property Manager to monitor daily HOA operations and activities. HOA committees include Archtectural Control (ACC), Neighborhood Watch, Holiday Decorating, Social, Grounds Beautification, Newsletter, and Scrapbook. San Antonio Oak Crest HOA is a mandatory HOA. As such, all homeowners automatically become members and pay annual assessments upon purchase of a home.
