Please call 311 and request that the City refurbish these tennis courts at 2100 Judiway (at Oak Forrest). It only takes a few minutes and the more people that call the more likely the City is to fix these courts. The current courts are actually a hazzard with the deterioated wood lines.
It would take $30,000 to $50,000 of neighborhood money to do it but if YOU call - the City Parks and Recreation dept may do it as part of their annual budget. CALL 311 TODAY! It takes 5 minutes and you you could end up with some very nice tennis courts in your area as a result. If you want to hit the tennis ball there - call me.
