Oakwood Hills is conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from central business district and Wanamaker corridor. Many of the homes have no special assessments. The neighborhood is within City limits with City services. The school district is Shawnee Heights.

About Oakwood Hills . . .

Oakwood Hills is a quiet, upscale, autonomous neighborhood nestled in the Shawnee Heights school district near Lake Shawnee.  It has a stable neighborhood population, a neighborhood watch and a neighborhood blog spot for announcements and information pertinent to the area and neighborhood.  Homes in the neighborhood vary in style -- split level, ranch, 1.5-story and 2-story construction with a value from low $100's to high $300's. A subdivision pool is available (not mandatory) for all homeowners in the neighborhood at a yearly cost of $225 which is managed by neighbor owners. There is no homeowner's association.
