I gathered my family and was going to
make it special evening with Valleyview's Christmas lighting of the
hall tree and we made our hot chocolate and bundled up and went to the hall there was no lights on trees
or people around and no notice of cancelation. gee thanks for yet another disappointment.

Holiday Gathering

I have to say that I am disappointed in my fellow members of Council and especially the Property and Planning Committee.

I have to question why dates were placed on the Village Calendar and then they ignore them or fail to take action to prevent what happened to you and your family.

On behalf of the Village Council, I apoligize and I will be bringing this before the Council at the Meeting on the 5th. Communication has always been a pet peeve of mine and I have seen the Council, Committees and Mayor fail to follow through on what they have planned and announced what they would be doing.

There is no excuse for not doing what you said you were going to do. I hope they get something together for the holiday lighting contest.
