I believe whomever is posting ecosystem is referring to the runoff of the fertilizer that gets in the sewers, ponds and drinking water. This person probably did not know how to refer to that properly. There definitely are people I know that are opposed to fertilizer due to the potentials of what it can do to ponds and drinking water.

Whomever the poster is that says fertilizer has nothing to do with weed control, please let BBF residents know how to kill weeds without dropping fertilizer/weed killer.
