I feel your pain. I too went through a rough period in my life. You shouldn't have to explain. Publishing peoples names that haven't paid ,would not solve a thing. It would not force anyone to pay, that doesn't want to pay and it would embarrass someone that can't pay, because of financial strain.
I would encourage you to contact the Trustees, I'm sure you could reach a compromise and also avoid the late fees. I hope things start looking up for you and your family.

I would love to know how you know there are only '13 apparent deadbeats' left. Obviously you are involved with the HOA in some way that you know this specific information. So do the trustees tell YOU what is going on? Us normal folk no nothing about how many did not pay or who they are. What does it take to be in the loop?

Just call Rickert Property Management Co. They will tell you. We do have the right to know. They wouldn't divulge the names though and that's OK, I just wanted to know how we stood. The trustees are on top of it and they are doing a good job. I think most of the delinquent accounts ,are either in foreclosure or Sheriff's sale.
