This truly is not an option. Has anyone communicated with Liberty Township or if we have to we can work as a community to get this done. Not 2-5 years from now but now. The kids deserve to have a central area to play and right now due to poor master planning it doesn't exist.
We need a playground

Original author again
This is the orginal author again. If everyone pitched in to purchase playground equipment we would all make it back instanly with home appreication valuations. Right now potential buyers see no green space/playground and they pass up houses here. Think about it and discuss please. |

Playground
I agree this sounds like a great Idea, but it involves more than just the equipment. You have to consider maintenance, and insurance? When I was I kid we could swim in the ponds. Times have changed and so have the cost and legality of these projects. The best way to start such an initiative would be to go door to door and submit a proposal. An idea such as yours does not move forward until someone takes the initiative to get it going. I don't think we should rely on our trustees to do so, as they have enough on their plate with their own jobs, children etc.. We do have the space, and I believe could generate enough money to do this. |

FORGET IT !
We don't need playground equipment ! All it does is sit there and no one ever uses it ,plus the liability is huge. Most people have gyms in there back yards, anyway. A park like setting would be better, with benches and maybe a bike path. It's not going to happen anyway, until the fences are fixed and the new Powell Rd extension is done. |
