A few words from our AACS participant JSCU 100 Club
‘We chose to adopt Martin Street and those adjoining because they are part of the Historic Biddleville Smallwood community where many early faculty of dear Ole JCSU resided. Biddleville Park is home of the Lady Golden Bulls softball team plus that space has such a breathtaking panoramic view of Charlotte central city.’
‘The favorite part of participating in Keep Charlotte Beautiful - AACS is the dedication and energy of volunteer student athletes helping JCSU 100 Club members with the street clean-ups.’

New Pickup Location! Keep Charlotte Beautiful has been aligned with the City’s Quality of Life Team, a new Code Enforcement initiative to solve common resident concerns with an interagency approach. With this change, staff now split time between Old City Hall and an office in University City.
What does that mean for AACS? A new pickup location! Volunteers will now be able to request supplies from 10101 Claude Freeman Drive. You can indicate a preference for this location on the supply request form.

Litter Study Keep Charlotte Beautiful volunteers were hard at work helping to sample 250 road segments this past year as part of a citywide Litter Study. The goal for this study is to analyze the distribution and composition of litter across the city, to find more efficient ways to tackle litter pollution.
Here are the results from our February sampling.
