Who to call.........

For those of you who are calling or writing to our Councilman Sam Bowman about the kids crossing problem, here's the reply I received back from Jean Morton, Sam's Assistant:

The school needs to contact our Traffic Management Division, 297-2531, about getting on the school crossing study list for next year for the city to pay for the school crossing guard.

So according to Jean, we must contact the James Monroe Elementary School about this problem and encourage them to request assistance. There is a link to their web site on the main page of the SPNA web site where you can drop the principal an email.

It would be great to be able to walk over to the library if we didn't get run down by the traffic. Good idea.
