We've had reports of dogs running loose in Smitty Park! Some of these dogs are running loose with their owners right there in the park.

Dogs running loose are against the law in OKC. They're can be picked up by Animal Control and then your wonderful companion will be subjected to the horrors of the dreaded ''Pound''. And....you will be subjected to a hefty fine to get them out of ''jail''. Doesn't sound all that good of an experience for either you or your pet!

So, if you must let your dog run loose, let it do so in the privacy of your own backyard or take your dog to one of the City's dog parks.

Be aware that the park is for children, too, and loose dogs aren't a good thing when children are running and playing.
