Fishing buddies....

I guess the raccoons are just my ''fishin' buddies'' because they're back in my yard and fishing in my pond! Just when I thought they'd passed us by for greener pastures! :)

Big Masked Bandit!

Thought all of you who are reading the conversations about the SP raccoons would enjoy hearing this story! Our min-pin was going to make her last run of the evening before turning in so my husband opened the patio door for her. Such a racket you've never heard went on then....she was scrambling, he was yelling, a masked bandit was running! The raccoon had been eating the last of the dog food right there at the door. He ran, the dog ran and so did we trying to catch the dog! The raccoon went up and over the back brick fence. We retired to the house in hopes of slowing our heartbeats. ha! So....if you live near us, you now know what all the noise was about at 11pm last night! :) We believe this one is bigger than the other's we've caught and seen.....he may be the male of the family. UGH!
