Many Opportunities For Our Park!

Thanks Dorothy and Matt for both of you wnating to be involved in our wonderful park!! We have many opportunities available to us. With our new park equipment, we have the opportunity for new and improved signage on both sides of the park, we can apply for a Margaret Annis Boys Trust grant to replant trees and shrubs that have died through the years, we can also use the grant process for the entrance project. This would also be a great time to address lighting and more ammenities in the park.
We will be discussing park issues soon, through a committee process and I look forward to your participation!!!

Here it is August 11 and I'm just getting the hang of the neighborhood chatroom! Okay, I would like to be part of the park beautificaton also. Could we enlist Mike Rankin, Mirage Environments on Denniston Drive? He probably would be willing to help out with at least ideas, if not some plants. He recently had a burglary so I'm not sure how receptive or giving he might be, but we could ask. Chevon that lives on 25th toward Woodward on the north side of the street is also a landscape designer, we might get her involved. Just some ideas. Any physical labor I can help with I will.
