I received a letter dated August 17, 2011 from the Planning & Development Department, for an application to construct a new Communciations Tower . The location for this proposed Radio Microwave Cell Tower Site is at 6102 1/2 Ardmore 77021, the Proposed Height is 120' feet . Tower Owner: Ardmore Towers LLC. 10021 S Main Street Suite 2B Houston Texas 77025 Tower Applicant is Ed Rashtie 832-964-9552. the Tower Ordinance requires owners of property located within the residental test area of the proposed tower be given written notice of said proposal.The ordinance states that property owners within the residental test area who have reasonable grounds to believe that the posed construction will violate any applicable restriction, rule, regulation, or ordinance, may request a hearing before the Tower Commission. This request is to be made by submitting written request (Per41-60 of the Code of Ordinances). to the Planning and Development Department before 2:00p.m. on Friday, September 15,2011. Copies of all supporting documents, instruments, or orther materials that are to be presented at the hearing must accompany this request. If a tower complies with the Tower Ordinance and any other applicable restriction, rule, regulation or ordinance, the tower must be approved.
Since the Application contains a waiver request, a PUBLIC HEARING IS SCHEDULED.. YOU MAY ATTEND THE TOWER COMMISSION MEETING TO BE HEARD ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. in the COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL ANNEX at 900 BAGBY. The waiver is to allow the communciations tower to locate in an area with more than 50% residential land use.
