HISTORY

Old Trail Crime watch was originated out of concerns about drug issues in 2002. About four people brought these concerns forward with the results being nine crack houses closed down mainly by our local code enforcement department
This aroused the interest of more neighbors. Thus Old Trail Community Crime Watch with the help and guidance of P.B.C.S.O. was born. We were assigned a community officer to lead,teach and guide us to keep our neighborhood safer and crime free.
We then broadened the crime watch to include revitalization efforts. With the assistance and grants through the county, specially the Office of Community Revitalization, the PBSO, & the CCRT members we have accomplished many improvements. Some of these include paving, drainage, water lines, streetlights, our very own park and bulletin board.
Our group is very thankful to all who helped us make the difference and to those who will in the future.

About Old Trail Community Watch

We hold an open meeting once a month where everyone can come together, meet new people and discuss any issues they may have, good or bad and cover all results and events since the last months' meeting. Our community officer/deputy also attends and gives us updates and and advice.
Twice a month we hold meetings for , the coordinator, block captains and community officer to evaluate any issues needing addressing.
We do two neighborhood clean-ups each year for earth day/great american clean up.
Our objective is to provide our residents with all the information and resources we can to maintain a safe and desirable neighborhood.
