I moved to this neighborhood to enjoy the community, people, and activities.  I am appalled over the behavior of some of our Board members and how they seem to think they have the power to mandate anything they want.  Some examples I would like to share are the objection to having a flag pole in your yard, proudly displaying the American Flag which some people lost their lives defending that flag, children's swing sets in back yards, we are not a retirement village and children are a very important part of this development, dogs barking, let's face it they do bark, it is their way of communicating with other animals, but this incident "takes the cake" being woke up early on a Saturday mornig to two board members yelling at Mrs. Nellman over her dogs and whether or not her family has paid dues.  I will not even call these two people gentlemen as you do not shout or scream at other adults.  Please Board members read the Bi-Laws as you are in violation of some of the same things you are picking on other homeowners about.  For further reference learn how to conduct yourself in a professional manner or remove yourself from the Board.  In conclusion, people who moved into this development before my house was built have various items that are Grandfathered and are in their specific deeds, so lay off the clothes line, swings in front or back yard and just learn to enjoy your own home.  Thank you, Debbie Weeks 116 West Green Lane, Orchard Hill

Your post is very interesting and I appreciate your concerns and opinions. First I would like to know the names of the board members that are opposed to flying the American Flag, children swing sets or barking dogs. I for one have raised four kids and know the value of the swing set, basketball backboards and other children stuff. I also own a dog and realize that a dog bark is not only a way of communicating but also a very good warning system. As for the flying of the American Flag,I am a former United States Marine and a Vietnam Veteran who was proud to have laid his life on the line for his country and her flag and all that it stands for. Now for yelling at another adult, you forgot to include all the facts surrounding the incident. When a person has been asked to obey the law by other residents and put a leash on their dogs and then was told by animal control to do the same because another resident reported the dogs running loose,to have said dog jump on someone from behind perhaps called for the dog owner to receive a not so pleasant ear full from the person the dog annoyed. I was that person. I do respect you standing up for your friend, however one friend should not cover up for another friend who is breaking the law. Thank you. What is the protocol for addressing violations in our community? Are members of the board personally going to homeowners and addressing concerns? Is there a standard letter being sent certified mail? A level of professionalism and courtesy is to be expected.

I ask only to see if there is a system set in place, I have not had a bad experience, nor do I expect to.

As a side note, I think the roads look fantastic. I am very pleased the HOA got the roads finished prior to the final lots being built on.

** As far as Lacrosse Homes goes, Does anyone know if Jack is still the contact for construction issues? We had our 1 year walk through and some of the items were not taken care of. Jack did not call us and the office in MD has been closed also. Thanks!

I would like you to first get your facts straight about this incident.  I dont remember you being there when other reisents have complained about the dogs because aside from you and Bill (both board members) that has been nonexistent.  Where do i start.  First i am the son of the person that got yelled at for the dogs, so in no way take what i say as a reflection of them because i am an adult and can formulate my own opinions.  You are a liar and a two faced coward to hide behind your computer screen and post this B.S..  When you were over here then to give us "a not so pleasant ear full" you never made mention of any of this, in fact You treated us kindly but not that you dont think we are not listening, you think that gives you full right to write whatever you want unchecked.  So to hide behind the internet just makes you a coward and a two-face.

You are a gossip mongerer who is passing off this gossip as truth to his neighbors.  All i have to say about your gossiping is there is a term for this and it is slander and now that you posted it on the internet it is liable so be very careful what you say in the future not just about us but about everyone.  I am sick of other people telling me what you and Bill are saying about other residents (including us) which are just childish lies.   YOu are a board member and more importantly supposed to be an adult so please quit propogating these childish rumors about your neighbors.  I am not about to try and to explain myself on an internet site about the situation that led up to the yelling incident.  So if you want to man up and  come over and talk about our "violations" our "run in with animal control" or non- existant residents beside you and Bill that complain about our dogs which are off a leash (which they arent) then i welcome you to do so.  Until then i suggest you apologize on this site and then later to us in person.  Until then
