I moved to this neighborhood to enjoy the community, people, and activities. I am appalled over the behavior of some of our Board members and how they seem to think they have the power to mandate anything they want. Some examples I would like to share are the objection to having a flag pole in your yard, proudly displaying the American Flag which some people lost their lives defending that flag, children's swing sets in back yards, we are not a retirement village and children are a very important part of this development, dogs barking, let's face it they do bark, it is their way of communicating with other animals, but this incident "takes the cake" being woke up early on a Saturday mornig to two board members yelling at Mrs. Nellman over her dogs and whether or not her family has paid dues. I will not even call these two people gentlemen as you do not shout or scream at other adults. Please Board members read the Bi-Laws as you are in violation of some of the same things you are picking on other homeowners about. For further reference learn how to conduct yourself in a professional manner or remove yourself from the Board. In conclusion, people who moved into this development before my house was built have various items that are Grandfathered and are in their specific deeds, so lay off the clothes line, swings in front or back yard and just learn to enjoy your own home.
