Enough with the negativity that is abundant on this website. For all who are interested, and even if you are not, you should have received a letter for the meeting at the Library on September 29th at 7 in the evening. If you have not please let Bob, Bill or Frank know and the situation will be rectified immediately.
As to the issue I have been hearing about a board member telling a homeowner to take down a flagpole, I can personally assure you that no current board member has told anyone to take down a flagpole.
Please understand that we have been working hard to straighten out a mess that was created. There had been a communication lapse between Lacrosse and Croll and we have spoken at length to both parties and the City is involved. The county conservation group is also involved and assisting Croll with how to fix the ponds to get them into code and to do what they need to do. The roads were just paved and it was a pretty good job that was done. The sprinklers in the circle and by the entrance are fixed and that was a huge job to get finished. As far as having them run right now, we are not paying anything yet, it is Croll that is still paying for that.
A note on the few that have not paid, this number is down to only about 2 dozen houses. We have had some say they are exempt, if you have this in writing, please provide us with a copy so it can be verified. Those who do not have it in writing, I am sorry, but without proof it is nothing.
Remember the HOA is for the homeowners. We want to keep this development looking good. There are some problems in the southern section that we have to address, including parking on grass.
We chose to focus on what they homeowners were telling us was most important to them, everything else comes later.
For those wondering about the Architectural committee, currently it is the board just like it was when Lacrosse was the board. The information comes to Bill, Bob, Frank or Janice and we meet and get a response out to you as soon as possible.
