Ah yes speed bumps

Speed bumps do serve a purpose, personally those of us that own trucks with heavy duty suspension have quite a time with them. They are really hard on our truck and yes I am going slow, it's too bad that our fello motorists don't drive appropriately so that we wouldn't need them. They just raise havoc on front ends of cars.

Yes, I love that they slow traffic down. I work at home and my office has a window on the street. I often wonder just how fast cars go past since they are only a blur... As a driver, I don't mind them so much since my little car goes up one side, over the top, and down the other. But, as a bike rider, I hate 'em! They slow you down and just don't feel good. And, has anyone else beside me noticed that speedbumps are different in different parts of the city? Outer (say east of 82nd) bumps go clear across the street while Inner bumps don't.
