Upon returning home from work on Friday, I went to get the mail from the box. In there among the usual ads, bills and election material was a Smith for Judge postcard. The card was addressed to my home but had a different name on it. Whoever sent the card (I assume that Smith does not do this herself) realized that the name on the address was incorrect and put a line through it but did not go the trouble of adding the correct name. This struck me as a little odd that they knew the name was incorrect but could not to do a little investigating into what name was supposed to go with this address. Presumably, my vote is not important enough to include a piece of personal correspondence.
Ms. Smith, take a piece of advice from someone that has run for office in Fairfield county... you need to do everything in your power to make a personal connection to the voters. You failed in your attempt to earn my vote since you could not trouble yourself to find out my name. These are the kind of things that win and lose elections.
By Evidently does not matter
