WE SEE THAT THE SNIDER THORNTON ANNEXATIONS ARE IN COURT AGAIN. WILL THE CITY ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE PROPERTY OWNERS? WHY ARE RESIDENTIAL ANNEXATIONS SO BAD SINCE THE CITY HAS INSTITUTED ITS 2 UNITS PER ACRE? THE TOWNSHIP HAS NOT MADE ANY FORMAL/LEGAL RESTRICTIONS ON RESIDENTIAL ZONING. THE CITY HAS IMPACT FEES. TOWNSHIP DOESN'T. THE CITY HAS DESIGN GUIDELINES, RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL. THE CITY CAN COLLECT INCOME TAX FROM THESE NEW HOMES. TOWNSHIP CAN'T.

GIVEN THE ABOVE, WHY OH WHY, OH WISE COUNCIL MAJORITY ARE YOU GIVING UP OUR RIGHTS TO ANNEX FOR THE NEXT 10,950 DAYS? WOW, THAT'S UNTIL THE YEAR 2038... 2038 FOLKS. THAT'S 30 YEARS FOR THOSE OF YOU BEING LED AROUND BY THE NOSE. NOW IF RESIDENTIAL IS SO ''BAD'', THEN WHY IS O.K. IN THE UNINCORPORATED PART OF THE TOWNSHIP, BUT NOT THE INCORPORATED PART OF THE TOWNSHIP? THE KIDS STILL GO TO OUR SCHOOLS NO MATTER WHERE THEY LIVE. OUR CITY HAS SPENT THOUSAND OF STAFF HOURS AND THOUSANDS OF OUR DOLLARS TO PUT THESE POLICIES IN PLACE AND THEN THROW IT ALL AWAY ON A 4-3 VOTE?

I SEE COUNCILMAN SMITH YOU CAN FIND THIS SITE TO THANK VOTERS FOR ELECTING HIM, SO WHY CAN'T YOU FIND IT TO HELP US UNDERSTAND YOUR THINKING. COUNCILMAN FIX, YOU KNOW THIS SITE EXSISTS. HELP US UNDERSTAND.

RIGGS AND HAMMOND, DON'T BOTHER RESPONDING. AFTER YOUR DOG AND PONY SHOW AT SERVICE COMMITTEE ASKING FOR STAFF INPUT AND THEN FIX REJECTING STAFFS IDEAS BECAUSE ''HE'' ALREADY HAS ''YOUR'' VOTES IS HIGHLY INSULTING TO YOU BOTH AT BEST. FIX REJECTED STAFFS ADVICE BECAUSE HE ALREADY HAS YOUR VOTES? DO YOU SEE HOW RIDICULOUS YOU WOMEN LOOK? WE VOTERS DON'T APPRECIATE YOU TWO WASTING THE STAFFS TIME AND OUR MONEY. I believe it can be fixed. For that to happen though it will require the intervention of the public and the City voters. You have a 30 year agreement that has a very narrow margin. I believe the majority is being manipulated in this process. I am not sure if it is for a future office or their strong need to be needed and to socialize. If you have read the paper you can see that first they promise compromise and debate and then they cut off all debate. First they ask for staff input to buy time then they ignore that staff input and go right back to the version that Jeff wanted in the first place. How can a member of the Pickerington City council complain that the minority was supporting an agreement that was TOO favorable to the city?

I am hearing that a PAC is forming or has formed to run a referendum on this development agreement. If you really want to make a difference then for this community I would recommend that you contact one of the minority member of council (Sabatino, Hackworth, or Wisniewski) and offer your help. I sure any kind of effort like this will take money and people. It time to get off you computer chair and get a little exercise in mid-January. I am sure your help would be appreciated.
