This is Ridiculous

Some person(s) unknown storm this website, hurling insults and trying to defame the characters of our friends. Then, for no reason and with no substantiation, and without even telling us who they are, they want to enlist us in the recall of one of our friends.

They somehow think that copying words from the Ohio Revised Code and their dictionary makes them look less, rather than more, ridiculous.

Frankly, the only thing that I ever want to hear from this person (I suspect we're dealing, here, with just one individual with a bunch of irrational grudges) is an apology.

Dear anon,

I began having what I believe are the same impressions you do regarding who is behind these postings. So, apparently unlike you and those with similar thinking, I contacted that person yesterday. After speaking to them, I am convinced that we are mistaken. I honestly believe that this person hasn?’t even looked at this website for over a week because of computer problems and work schedule. I never came out and asked the person if they had been posting but just talked about other things and mentioned the web site had been heating up. They logged on while we were talking and I have to say, they were rather disappointed at what they read. They said it reminded them of postings from a couple of years ago with the same unsubstantiated rumors and accusations being posted against Bushman, Postage, Hughes and their gang.

I asked who they thought might be posting this stuff and they said probably the same gang who posted the old stuff. I asked them their feelings on recall and removal from office and they said they thought that it was not a good idea. They said they did not support the previous recall efforts because that is what elections are for.

Anyway, we talked about a lot of other things of a similar nature and I have to tell you that I don?’t think there are any grudges being held or axes to grind on their part. I actually detected a hint of relief that they are in the position they are in now rather then the one they were in before for whatever reasons. But reduced stress seemed like the biggest reason.

Take my comments for what they?’re worth, but I would recommend you do as I did and just call this person up and talk. You don?’t have to ask them if they are the poster but if you just talk you will probably get the same impression as I did. Don?’t do what you are accusing them of and proceed with hurling insults and defaming characters with no substantiation. Rise above those you are scolding on this site rather then becoming one of them.
