The natural gas bill to heat our home was up 63% compared to last year. (Cost per CCF) We are also keeping our home COLD this winter.
Gasoline is hovering around $2.50 per gallon and is predicted to go to $3.00 by the time summer hits. I have to drive to work. This is not optional. I really do have to go to work. Yes, I have all but eliminated unnecessary trips and have downsized my automobile.
Car insurance bill came in with an increase. Not really an option to drive around without insurance.
Homeowners insurance bill came in with an increase. Mortgage company will not let me drop my homeowners insurance.
Sales taxes are up and so is the tax on booze.
Look around you and see all of the homes in our area that are in foreclosure.
The much touted economic recovery is a myth.
DON?’T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE DISPARITY BETWEEN THE TWO SCHOOL DISTRICTS WE HAVE IN PICKERINGTON.
Make sacrifices like the rest of us have to when the budget gets tight. Be creative.
