Alvin and the Chipmunks

Are my old eyes giving out on me or what? But doesn't the photograph in the This Week of our new council members look like Alvin and the Chipmunks? It looks like the photo journalist got a bit a TOO close up with a very wide angle lens. They all look like the got nuts stored in their cheeks.

If you look at the photo you can almost hear Dave singing with Alvin.

The only question is where is Theodore?

Seems we have quandary we have seen in the past just after an election. It looks like one of the councilmen may resign to save face, stroke the ego and fall on the sword for the boss govcandidate. Great - won't be missed.

Now who to appoint? When Washington was forced to resign to take one for the team they reappointed Maxey who finished last in the election. When Shaver got Mayor they appointed O'Brien who hadn't run because he was out of state for the petition filing.

Citizen outrage over the Maxey appointment because he was voted out. (minority) Council outrage over the O'Brien appointment because he hadn't ran.

Now if there is an opening, do you appoint someone who hasn't ran or someone who missed the cut by 5 votes or so?

The Answer!

Appoint Brian Fox. This is the only way to prove that he and Jeff Fix are actually two seperate people.

On the other hand, if they are the same person and they get too close to each other, we run the risk of the universe imploding.

I say let's risk it!!! FOX! FOX! FOX! FOX! FIX! FIX!... wait a minute, now I'm confused......
