My Endorsments
Well after sitting back and seeing everything there is to see I will offer my picks for the seats as well w/ a few reasons why.
State Senate-Tim Schaffer. He will be able to work up to leadership posistion which will bode well for this community. He has fought hard for our values in Fairfield County. Jeff Furr does not have the experiance. Ron Hood is a carpet bagger who has tied his hands with Brian Fox here. Dennis Lupher has run for everything under gods green earth and just another seat for him to attempt.
State Rep. Seat-Kyle Farmer. I am going with Mr. Farmer from talking with him on my door step. He has been the only candidate that I have had come to my door yet this year. He had sensible ideas to help with education spending, and his down to earth appeal attracted me to him. Gerald Stebelton reminds me of an elitest republican who just wants to put his name behind the title. I have yet to hear an idea from him or from any of his articles. Doug Leith I know nothing about him other than Brian Fox circulated one of his petitions around. Not good in my book.
County Commish-Steve Elsea. Many reasons have been stated for this one, so no need to repeat.
Clerk of Courts-Debbie Smalley simply because I am not entirely sure why Mike Burba is running. They both seemed equally qualified while learning about them, but simply will give Ms. Smalley some more time in office, and let her continue her work.
Auditor-Barb Curtiss reluctantly. Can someone with some brain please challenge her. I am not sure if she is qualified but she has to be better than Ms. Anderson.
Domestic Court Judge-Laura Smith. Again when I saw Kathy Mowry's signs go up with the Fox crowd that lit a fire under me. Mrs. Smith seems to have the experiance necessary to do a good job.
If I am missing a race I appologize, but I think that covers most of them. I am sick of seeing Brian Fox tied to candidates, and they need to realize his time is done here, so run for yourself.
