School board changes meeting time
PICKERINGTON - The Pickerington Local School District Board of Education changed its meeting time to 5 p.m. Monday at Heritage Elementary, 100 East St., Pickerington.
The board will discuss short-term housing options, school facilities review and long-term school proposals. An executive session is possible. The regular monthly meeting will follow the discussion session.
Folks, you're always asking for the board of education to listen to you. Here's an opportinuty to be heard.

Why 5 p.m.?
I was planning to attend the school board meeting this Tuesday, but now that it's been changed to Monday at 5 p.m. it will be a little more difficult. I'll have my 20-month-old with me as my husband doesn't get home from work until 5:30 p.m. at the earliest.
Also, if other matters are happening first, including a possible executive session, what time should we show up if we want our voices to be heard?
If they're trying to get more public input this is a dubious way to achieve it.

Cut and Paste
This posting was a cut and paste from the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette. Perhaps the PLSD Administrative Offices can answer your questions.

7 p.m. Monday
I called the Board of Education office. The secretary said the Board meeting is Monday the 13th at 7 p.m. She didn't know anything about a special meeting starting at 5 p.m.
