Just hang it on the mailbox

I just received a notice on my mail box telling us all about the meeting Thrusday evening at Ridge View Jr High.

I think they are trying to get some people to attend.

YELLOW JOURNALISM

So, who put that piece of YELLOW JOURNALISM* in my mailbox?

The choice of paper color sure was appropriate.

*Yellow journalism is defined as journalism that is exploitive and sensational--cheap, in a word. It's designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator of reader, and truth is not one of its strong points.

The township has informed PATA that this email text was not sent from them. Please be aware that Violet Township did not send this email, there were many addresses on the email and confusion as to its origin was easy.

My apologies to the Township on my error. I read the sender's name on the email and mistakenly thought it was someone from the township. Similar names, I guess.

I am glad that officials from the township read this forum and welcome their participation. After I realized the mistake my first thought was to delete the posting and repost correctly but having done something like that in the past....well, we won't go there again, will we? You taught me my lessons on that one.
