Blackwell for Ohio? ...doubt it

Posted in: PATA
Here's a topic for you...

Blackwell thumps his bible and preaches morals and ethics all the while he is getting rich off a voting machine scheme. Someone needs to explain why it is acceptable for this crook to purchase thousands of shares of Debold stock all the while he is insisting that the state of Ohio purchase voting machines from this same company. I can tell you why... HE WANTS TO FLEECE THE FLOCK FOR HIS OWN POCKET!!

You GOP zombies need to wake up. This man is a crook and needs to be run out of the state!!

Try Again

Go read the news article again, you twit! He bought 176 shares. If you think that will make him rich then I have some land I want you to look at.

Clueless

My dear Mouse -

Do you really think the amount of money he made is the point? Typical of people like you to bury your head in the sand by saying things like this.

How's Life in Cloud Cuckoo Land?

I'm going to cheat again here. I'm going to argue from the facts and the legal evidence, something you dems hate. Here goes.

According to the ''Columbus Dispatch'', Apr 4th edition (house organ of the Democrat Party in central Ohio) a paid member of Mr Blackwell's personal staff, an agent, steward, servant, whatever, disobeyed orders and bought 178 shares of Diebold for Mr Blackwell's personal account. The shares totaled $9553, not counting commissions, taxes, transfer fees, etc., verified by public record and admitted by Mr Blackwell. Now Diebold is a dog, the price keeps falling (down 20% in two years against the S & P 500)and it pays a measly 2.10% dividend. That's about 1.5% after taxes, you can make approximately 4% interest just buying Pickerington Local School District bonds and they're tax free. In fact, I can't find a single ''buy'' recommendation anywhere for Diebold.

Now sometime last year (the paper wasn't clear) Mr Blackwell's financial staff sold 95 shares at a loss of $15.68 per share or minus $1490. They sold the remainder Monday at a loss of $12.41 per share or minus $1030. So the investment netted $7033 after spending $9553. Gee a NEGATIVE bribe.

You dems missed the argument. Mr Blackwell is not corrupt, he's incompetent. He can't maintain discipline amoung his staff and and he's a terrible manager. Remember how the current administration was duped by a series of con artists like Noe. Mr Blackwell isn't corrupt--he's STUPID! That's your argument.

Disclaimer: I am not now nor have I ever been a member of the Republican Party. I am, in fact, a member of the Libertarian Party. Under the facist election laws of Ohio, I'm not even allowed to vote in the primary. Finally, as a Libertarian, I can find no public benefit whatsoever in the office of State Attorney General. It should be abolished.
