Sure...
The Roadrunner and I were just talking about that and we found ourselves stuck to come up with a topic that would get any attention outside the recent postings. Feel free to toss out an idea for a topic of the week. By Coyote |

Topic
When Coyote and I talked about this yesterday, I guess I just figured that a topic had already consumed the discussion area for this week. I couldn?’t imagine posting a topic that could compete with this. So along that vein, let me ask this. Do you feel that pursuing the threads of point / counterpoint, attack / defend, etc. for or against councilmen or the mayor in a forum such as this is healthy and productive? Or do you think that contacting these people to ask how we can help would be more productive? I recall a large support group working together to elect these people. Can this same support group again work together to heal the wounds or is it too late? Other than that, I have no opinion on this subject. By Roadrunner |

Just an opinion
It's just my opinion, but I don't think these type of postings can be avoided. You have one set of people posting newspaper articles and promoting their views. Then you have another group taking the defensive position. I guess at least they are both getting their forum. It's getting kind of nasty though and I think this site is more effective as a place for discussing/debating real issues. |
