Why is it that the best our school board could organize was three women standing at 256 and 204 this morning holding Issue 3 signs and waving at cars?

Is is running this campaign anyway? Don't they want this levy to pass? They need to have Hill Road lined with kids holding signs and waving their school colors. I didn't get one person knocking on my door during this campaign. All I got was a bunch of junk in and on my mailbox that I promptly tossed in the garbage. I have personally talked to dozens of people in my neighborhood about voting for the levy tomorrow. I did so on my own time and at my own expense. Seems that the school levy campaign could not troublr themselves to get out and go door to door.

I'll make you a bet that we're going to be trying to pass this levy again in November.

Good to hear from you again. Perhaps some of the same people who advised on the fall campaigns had a hand in this one too. Some of them weren't too successful and maybe the same people produce the same results. You know what a small circle bothers to even get involved in things like these.

I was walking

I had a walking list and I hit the homes I was supposed to. I hadn't done anything in past committees but I got involved as much as possible this time around. There were plenty of invitations to come and help, maybe you should have taken them up on that.

Clearly you are new to this website. I do not support the current regime we have as a school board. I would not volunteer to be a part of the train wreck they call a levy campaign.

I did, as I stated earlier work in my own neighborhood to urge my friends and neighbors to vote for this levy. I want this levy to pass for the sakes of my own kids. But I don't think that it will. Rather than spending thousands of dollars to get an issue on ballot three times, perhaps the school board could have paid a professional to run a better campaign. No one that I spoke with got anything more than printed material in their mailbox.

Is the school board too good to go door to door? Perhaps they're too busy sitting on their butts counting the money we're paying them each month.
