Does anyone know who is up for re-election this coming November in the city, township and school board races? Also have any challengers decided to run for any of these seats? The local board of elections was not much help.
I'm new to the area, but served as a selectman where I used to live. Pickerington seems to be experiencing much of the same issues I've seen before and I would like to try and help.

Nobody is up for election this year. Next year should be interesting though.
School Board - Lisa Reade & Jim Brink
Township - Gary Weitlich
City - (Mayor) David Shaver, (Council) Heidi Riggs, Ted Hackworth, Brian Wisniewski

Absentee Ballot Offer
The PLSD did send home a flyer with my kid promoting the bond issue and even was so generous to offer to fill out a form and have to arrange for people to get an absente ballot. However, they also asked people on the form to indicate whether or not they were in favor or the bond issue - bet I can guess where they will file the forms that people return saying they are opposed to the bond issue...

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know if all these people are going to run again? Granted I am new to the community, but I would have to wonder if the school board members would run again. They certainly seem to get beaten up on a regular basis.
