Yeah, yeah, yeah... we've been slacking a little in the topic of the week strings but it would seem as though the site has been motoring right along anyway. But it's time to get back to our job duties. Since we have been a little lax and since it's almost the end of the week, we'll leave this one up until July 17th and promise to get back to a weekly topic. Okay???

It's time for a 6 month check up?… Lets take a look back at the 2005 election for a topic of the week. Of the four council members elected last November; Hammond, Fix, Sabatino and Smith. Which has lived up to expectations and which has fallen short?

Hammond

Christie Hammond seems to be doing a pretty fair job in her first months as a city councilman. She appears to be very involved and well informed on most every issue. I've been at a couple council meetings and I have gotten the impression that she is a woman that likes to formulate her thoughts and statements rather than rattle on just to hear herself talk.

She is a very welcome breathe of fresh air at City Hall. Keep up the good work.
