What about the % key?

How about a lesson on using the % key? When bond issues keep getting defeated, and the need for new schools doesn't go away, the cost to build the new schools increases every year.

Central Mom: what do you propose? Obviously you don't believe there is a need for 2 new 750 student elementaries. What do you think is required?

Since you're obviously new to this website I'll answer your question. I've said this many, many times...

Build one larger scale elementary and continue to use the portables. The portables have been used in this district for 15 years and they're fine. Regardles of the doom and gloom many like to pass of on this site.

Split Sessions

The board has been holding the split sessions card to long - time to play it and stop the nonsense.

Keep the Portables?

Central mom ways keep the portables? Don't you think we can do better than putting our kids in trailers? It furstrates me that people in this community don't think our kids deserve better. Its not the school districts fault that our community is growing so fast. I moved here for the schools and I am willing to support them.
