Councilman Sabatino,
How many times over the last two years have you demanded that issues go to the voters no matter how trivial they were? I voted for you Mike and as a constituent, how about demanding that what is most probably one of the biggest issues to face this community (giving up our right to govern) go to the voters?
I don?’t feel that a guy who runs food vending station in mall food courts has the knowledge, skills and abilities to adequately negotiate a deal of this magnitude. I don?’t feel anyone on council nor on the board of trustees has the experience to adequately dictate the terms of this deal.
I think this best left in the hands of City Managers, Development Directors, Township Directors and a competent legal staff for both sides. You know, the high-priced people we pay to do this stuff.
