Throwing gas on the fire

Apparently you are reading more into the article than was written. Clearly you want the controversy to continue to show your side as the good guys or should I say the winners. There is a good reason that the city elects SEVEN members to council. If Mr. Fix wants to make it his mission to get an agreement with the Township then so be it. However maybe it should be pointed out that the Township Operations director Bill Yaple and Mike Sabatino stated similar comments in that economic development is not normally handled by elected officials. Maybe just maybe there is an effort to take the politics out of this important issue. If you know anything about the laws that govern our elected leaders there are some real issues here with the sunshine laws that may have been breached in this zealous effort to get an agreement between the City and the Township. Maybe it is time for our leaders to put their egos aside and allow the professional staff to take over and to get this out of the newspapers and into the form of legal contracts and agreements. Clearly you would rather fan the flames than seek an agreement.
