You're funny
I think Roadrunner was quite clear that there are administrators, probably from Neighborhood Link who have rights and permissions even he or she is not aware of.
I maintain a site with a blog for a group I belong to. When we set it up we were able to add a whole list of keywords that, if any of them appear in a post, will cause the posting to go into a holding area where one of us has to approve it before it posts publicly. I guess you could call that a moderated discussion where this is not moderated at all.
Maybe a keyword list exists for the technology for this forum that is similar. Since the technology used in this site is rather old and outdated maybe a hit to the keyword list simply alerts the administrators by email to review the posting.
I don't know but it is evident that one of two things is happening here. The first that comes to mind is that what some posters have said is true and this blog has run its course and should go out of production. The other is that since we are entering into another election season this November and next, that some behind the scenes power brokers who recognize that each local election brings higher stakes is trying to pollute this site so much that there will be no choice but to take it down. It has had too much of an impact on elections in the past and there are probably those who don?’t want to run the risk next time.
At least in the old days when a guy from Glenshire attempted to hijack the site with his poison pen, he had the guts to post his name and take the heat. I didn?’t agree with most of what he had to say but he wasn?’t a coward when it came to putting his name to his words. Perhaps some of these glocks and anonymous-es should take a lesson from that and be man or woman enough to post their name.
I think being a PATA webmaster is about as enriching to one?’s life as serving on the school board must be. It doesn?’t matter what you say or do, the public will always judge you to be wrong. Even when you do what they say they want, they will also tell you that you are wrong.
