I see by the article posted to the left that maybe Terry Dunlap and his pal Gary Weltlich may have forgotten the past and are now repeating it, and I quote ''Violet Township Board of
Trustees Chairman Terry Dunlap said there was no
need to inform Pickerington officials of the work with Canal Winchester, or invite them to the table. ''Why would we need to talk to Pickerington...''
Hey Fix, tell your buddies you are trying to turn the city over to to be a little more careful in what they say. Some of us remember the past. Tell them to be more like you and refuse to take or return calls from the press.

you guys are funny
Which way do you want it? I've seen public officials lynched here for talking to the press and now for not talking to the press. Both appear to be bad.
What's the formula for doing it right?

Try telling the truth
Try telling the truth and sticking with it.
Not to wear out my H's here, but the hypocrisy is hysterical in local government.
That's why I say the names and faces change but the game never does.

Let's talk
Why do we always need to spell out the obvious to some of the morons that read these postings.
In simple English look at page two of Brian Sauer's President's comments from the NW Republican Club and he states very clearly that it was Pickerington's Fault and that they walked away from the CEDA talks in 2001. Terry Dunlap stated for the papers in 2001 that Pickerington was not invited because it was none of their business. Jeff Fix says he attended a number of these meetings in his email to Hackworth. So who is lying? There were no meetings for Fix to attend. Sauer simply propagated a lie told to him by either Fix or Weltltich.
Now here comes Fix at the first of this year to force his way into the current CEDA and it seems very clear to me now and in 2001 the Township nor Canal Winchester wants to share any of the revenue they are currently earning at Canal Pointe with Pickerington.
The second fact is that Gary Weltlich has said for years that they wanted to invite Pickerington into that original CEDA but the city would not cooperate. Now they have some young guys swallowing their line hook line and sinker. The assumptions that Brian Sauer is basing his report on is flawed. Actually a flat out lie. So those that are so worldly here and have this idealist belief that the township is wanting to cooperate with the city then get over it. They have there little footse game going on with Canal so to hell with 35% of their constituency that live in the City. I fear the thought of these guys running for office next year.
